This is not the best picture of it but … this is my first paid commission.

So I finished my commission tonight, well I think it’s done, I’ll probably come back in the morning and think it’s all wrong. I’ll take a picture tomorrow too because the lighting in here is horrendous.
Anyway, I was wondering how I am ment to give him the drawing. At the moment it is an A4 sized drawing on an A3 sheet. Do I cut it down to A4 but leave a little bit of a border for him to do with whatever he wants. Do I put it in a folder? A frame? Though I don’t really want to pay for a frame. Shove it between two pieces of card? Just rip it out of my sketchpad and give it to him like that? Anyone have any suggestions on what I should be doing?
I’m clueless.

Working on my commission. I ended up asking for £35 and he told me that was more than fine :)

So this is my first ‘commission’, it is of my aunt’s dog, who is now living with my ancle as they separated and he kept the dog.
Anyway I gave it to her and she started crying and so did my two cousins, so I was just standing there all awkwardly. It was also her birthday today.
…. I definitely did not give my first commission away for free.
I won’t be giving another piece away for free, that being said, I don’t regret doing it this time.

I’m still alive even though I never post anything anymore. Sorry once again. I’m still drawing though. I decided to finish this one up, it will be done by tonight … I hope.

Ahh I have totally lost track of the days! I realised this morning that yesterday was the end of the first week of the year and I haven’t posted any pictures, sorry!
So this is what I have been working on … My first commission! It’s for my aunty, but it’s still a commission! It’s of her dog Bella, I was a bit hesitant at first because I’m not very comfortable drawing animals, but she insisted, and it seems to be going well.
